Billy Goat Trail Adventure
Welcome to Epic Recess' newest experience - The Billy Goat Trail Adventure! If you have been to other events at Epic Recess ranch, you will recognize some of the trail, because we have accessed the area before. But these trails going down the canyon are new for us. I can't wait to share them, plus the views that go with them, to you all. Please accept this challenge to come out and have some fun while finding your inner Goat.
The Courses
There will be 3 level of Billy Goat gruffness:
- The 5 miler has great views and some definitely Billy Goat like climbing, but you'll be staying on top of the canyon with no climb in and out of the canyon.
- The 15k is a single track taking you to a single drop to the bottom of the canyon with an awesome Billy Goat style climb back up!
- The 25k is definitely the toughest of the 3 courses. It has 2 deep drops into the bottom of the canyon, so twice you'll need to be your best Billy Goat to climb back up!
This year we have no contact aid, cup-less aid stations. To promote distance and safety you will need to bring your own water bottle/holder and we will fill it at our aid stations for you. Our aid stations will also have individually wrapped nutritious snacks to keep you energized.
T-Shirts will be handed out with bib pickup, and all completion goodies will be handed out at the finish line.
